About container templates About container templates Standard container templates About container templates Container templates allow you to assign permissions and view properties to several containers at once, the same way user groups allow you to assign privileges to several users at once. In addition, by using container templates you can set the appearance attributes of the conferences that use the container template. This includes setting the view and split of the window, the sort order, the font, the background picture, custom columns, and other appearance attributes. Container templates, like user groups, are in the Groups folder on the administrator’s Desktop. They are indicated by this icon: Top Standard container templates There are several standard container templates: •       All Conferences •       All Contact Databases •       All Folders •       All Desktops •       All Mailboxes •       All Blogs •       All Bookmarks. Like the All Users user group, use these to set the standard permissions that will apply to most containers of that type, then use the container templates included in the default network store, other container templates you create, or individual containers to change those permissions and view properties for selected groups or individuals.
