Types of teachers There are two types of teachers. Level 1 teachers have a basic My Classes view with their classes in the right pane and search options in the left pane. When they go into My Classes for the first time, they will see populated classes with complete rosters. Level 2 teachers have more flexibility than level 1 teachers. When they open My Classes, they will see a Course Catalog and My Courses area in the top pane, along with any search items, and their classes in the bottom pane. These teachers can create classrooms by adding a course from the Course Catalog, and can create and develop courses in the My Courses area.
